Tanvir Kaur is the artist and creative mind behind Art by Tann. Of Indian origin and born in Italy, she grew up between two distinct visual cultures, developing a refined and informed aesthetic sensibility.
Indian tradition instills in her the value of color, ritual, and detail. Her Italian experience defines her contemporary, essential, and elegant approach. Two worlds coexist in balance, giving shape to a recognizable artistic language.
Art is the foundation of her career. Her creative inclination emerged at an early age and evolved naturally into makeup as a means of expression. Her work is guided by precision, patience, and absolute attention to detail. She believes that excellence lies in proportion, clean lines, and the relationship between light and skin.
She creates visually striking traditional Indian makeup looks alongside modern, sophisticated, and understated Western looks. Sometimes these languages remain distinct; other times they merge, creating exclusive and contemporary results. Based in Italy, she works with an international clientele.
